Willow Haven Farm

Our journey in the horse industry started with breeding AQHA working horses in the 1980's as "Janssen Quarter Horses".  Jack and Wendy Janssen raised their family with horses, and any family time was spent trail riding, participating in 4-H or showing.  Breeding Quarter Horses was always done for quality, conformation, temperament and performance.

As time moved on, we began to explore a few new breeds that better suited our changing lifestyles.  These breeds included the Paso Fino, Friesian, Percheron, Clydesdale breeds, but the perfect balance was found in the Gypsy Cob (Vanner)!

While we love and appreciate many different breeds of horses, at this time our focus is on our Gypsy Cob (Vanner) breeding program.  This versatile breed has completely stolen our hearts.

This is truly a family farm and we hope our love of horses and breed stewardship will be passed on to the next generation and shared with many friends along the way.
