Meet Our Quarter Horses

Phantoms Jackson

2003 Palomino Gelding

Jackson came to us as a special gift. I had purchased his Dam, Cool Katty (Goldie) when a local breeder hit some hard times and was liquidating his herd. Sadly, what could not be sold went on a meat truck. When the breeder told me Goldie could possible be in foal, I knew I had to take the chance and save her.

Jackson was born on a very cold snowy February morning and quickly stole our hearts. He is a very talented performance horse and loves to trail ride.

Dudes Take A Chance

2004 Chestnut Mare (Parentage Verified)

Chance is a very special mare that brought many of our dreams to a reality.

Her pedigree is all foundation stock that you rarely see anymore. There is never a question if your on a true American Quarter Horse when your on her back.

Wildwoods Willow

2004 Bay Mare

Willow is a mare you can't take your eyes off.  She also comes from some amazing foundation stock. Willow was in training to be a reining mare when she injured her knee on a pasture break. Sadly one kick changed her path to a very light riding horse and pasture buddy. Willow did have one beautiful foal after her injury.

Legends Of Our Past

High Times

1977-2013 Sorrel Gelding

Times was raised by Roger & Doris Heinze of Rafter H Ranch.  He was shown by Roger in cutting, working cow horse and reining. He proved at a young age that he could compete with the greats of the time.  He was also shown very successfully on the world stage by their daughter at an amateur level in reining, working cow horse and hunter.

Times is what people refer to as a "Once in a Lifetime Horse".  He came to us as an 11 year old and was the stuff every girls dreams are made of.  When Shannon was 13 years old, he became her best friend and partner.

Over the next 5 years they had a very successful open show career throughout central Alberta.  Times never let her down, rarely missing a red ribbon.

Times lived to be 36 years old, we helped him cross the rainbow bridge when a tendon gave out.

Sir Two Eyed Quin

1978-1996 Bay Stallion

Quincy was the start of our families horse breeding dreams. He was a very kind Stallion that you could take anywhere. He consistently produced foals that were not only beautiful, but also had amazing temperaments.  At 15 years old we decided to geld him and let him enjoy retirement with the herd.  Sadly, he was only to enjoy a few years out on pasture.  A Pituitary Adenomas made us make a very difficult choice to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Sire: Sir Quincy Dan (Sire: Quincy Dan)

Dam: Two Eye Liz (Sire: Two Eyed Jack

County One O Five

1994 -2018 Grey Gelding

Count was bred by Roger & Doris Heintz of Rafter H Ranch and had a very nice reining background when we got him. Count came to us as a 11 year old and filled the gap that was left when we lost High Times. He was an athletic powerhouse standing over 16HH. Count had a great spin and never missed a lead change.

Sire: Peppys Doc (Sire: Peppy San, Dam: Doc's Snow Flake) back to Leo San, Doc Bar

Dam: Juggler's Act (TB)
